Sofa bed And small Duvet 4.2/5

Beautiful location with gorgeous views ,great hot tub ,very hot. Only 2 down points the sofa bed (to sit on )was passed it sell by date. Whether it had had a hard life don't know but to sit on it was uncomfortable to say the least. The duvet was too small and thin it would have felt more luxurious to have larger fluffy duvet. Maybe it's just me but instructions to strip your bed and leave it by the door and empty the bin when you're on holiday is not Hotel style

Little oasis 4.8/5

We had the most amazing week away at Vealley View Pod. The location is like being on your own private land with stunning views, the garden was a lot bigger than expected and was secure for our 2 dogs who loved running around playing (1 lab / spaniel and 1 collie). An added bonus was how there were bushes and small trees all around the perimeter, meaning you couldn't see your neighbours (couldn't really hear them either). The only thing I would say is if you had a small dog, it could definitely escape the garden through the wire around the fence or under / through the vehicle gate! On arrival, the pod was immaculate, it had everything you would need including cooking utensils, plates, glasses etc. The fridge / freezer space was perfect for the week. The bed was super comfortable too, the shower was relatively small but useable and considering its just a pod, the bathroom itself was actually quite spacious. It was easy to get the key and it was great that both doors opened, letting more air in on a hot day. It was lovely to have a patio area with seating, we ate most breakfasts and dinners here, overlooking the valley. The hot tub also had views of the valley and was ready for when we arrived. Someone would come most, if not everyday, and clean the filter out which was fab. We used the hottub everyday bar 1, when it rained, I was obsessed. We really didn't want to leave, we were in our own little oasis and we have already said that we are going to try and make it a yearly or 2 yearly holiday and bring some friends along. Value for money is incredible and one of the things that drew us here in the first place. Would 100% recommend, the best stay.

Relaxing 4.5/5

Lovely clean pod, very impressive garden that's fully enclosed and room to park the car on the same plot. Being able to see the valley from the Hot tub was a bonus. Such a relaxing stay. Will stay here again.

I knew as soon as I arrived that I would be back. So lovely and peaceful, but a great location 5/5

Really enjoyable stay, hosts have thought of everything. Lots of places to visit locally but such a lovely site and cabin that I could spend the day there trying to catch the sun while the dog pottered around in the generous garden completely safely. Although the weather wasn't the greatest, I still had a lovely stay and I've already booked to return

Enjoyable Stay 4.2/5

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location was excellent. So peaceful! We felt it could've been a little more luxury for the price. It was also a little disappointing that the check in was so late and check out so early.

A cozy rural getaway 4/5

We really enjoyed our stay at Valley view. The private hot tub was a great plus and everything within the pod was just as it should be and positioned just right. The view from the pod was amazing and it us in such a rural location that it is super quiet but still only 5 minute's drive into town. The pod is cosy and cute with a gentle wooden aesthetic that we loved. All amenities were provided and the hampers offered were pretty good. There were a few things we noticed though that need updating and adjusting in order to make this an even better holiday. First, the sofa is very outdated and falling apart so would need replacing soon, the freezer portion of the under-counter fridge was broken so we couldn't use it and it affected the quality of food within this fridge. Second, the place could have really used proper dusting as the roof and rafters did have cobwebs on and while the counters and floor had been cleaned everything above head height was cobwebbed. It also would have been beneficial to know that the pillows were feather pillows as I am allergic to feathers. It's just lucky I had medication with me to try and remedy this otherwise it would have been an awful experience.
