I booked Hares Rest for mine and my husbands wedding anniversary. This was a family trip including our 2 children, 11 and 13.
Hares Rest is absolutely beautiful. It was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and was enjoyed every evening with a glass of prosecco 🙂
The view, wow! Absolutely breath-taking and so peaceful and quiet.
We visited Elan Valley which was just a short drive away and Devils Bridge and Aberystwyth Beach which was slightly further a field but well worth the visit.
I wish we could have stayed for longer but we will definitely be back in the future.

We all had a fabulous stay at the Hares Rest. We loved the modern decor and its set up well for families. The hot tub was perfect to relax in after our long walks. It looks out over the beautiful Welsh countryside and the cute little lambs were a delight to watch. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and only 10 minutes from the town of Rhayader which had lovely places to eat out and a coop to get supplies.
Thank you so much for a truly enjoyable break. We didn’t want to leave and wished we had booked a longer stay.
