The paved patio features comfortable outdoor seating under a large parasol — perfect for alfresco dining or simply unwinding with a glass of wine as the children enjoy the spacious lawn nearby. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, there’s the highlight of the property: your very own private hot tub. Sink into the bubbles and truly switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
After a day of adventure or relaxation, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the king sized master bedroom, complete with its own en-suite wet room. The second bedroom also features a king-size bed, which can be set up as two singles for flexibility. Need extra space? The sofa bed in the living area transforms easily to sleep two additional guests. A family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower adds further convenience for all.
In the cooler months, you’ll stay snug thanks to underfloor heating throughout the cabin and a cosy electric fire in the living area — perfect for curling up after a day outdoors.

Just a short drive away is the picturesque market town of Rhayader, with its welcoming pubs, restaurants, and independent shops. This property offers 'Early Check In' at the following rates:- From 2pm - £40

One hand towel & one bath sheet are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!

Hot Tub & Outside Area
Caban Nant Ddu has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!
The hot tubs are emptied, cleaned & re filled at every change over - please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
Kitchen
The kitchen comes complete with electric oven, hobs, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster & kettle as well as a washing machine & dishwasher.
We leave for all guests, a tea towel, sponge & cloth, tea coffee & sugar & fairy liquid.
In the cupboards you will find: mugs, water glasses, wine glasses, bowls, dinner plates & tea plates as well as cutlery. For cooking, baking trays, utensils, mixing bowls, oven dishes.
Bathroom
In the bathroom you will find a bath with shower over, hand sink, flushing toilet & heated towel rail as well as toilet paper & hand soap.
There is also an en-suite wet room off the Master bedroom.

Stephen and Dawn Rowlands are the owners of Cae Llwyn Breaks, a family friendly site based on a farm in the heart of the countryside just outside Rhayader.
Cae Llwyn Breaks offers a unique opportunity for everyone to enjoy and experience the peace and beauty of Mid Wales.
The site comprises of two log cabins which were Stephen and Dawn's first venture and they soon got the staycation buzz and expanded to host an additional six lodges and four luxury glamping tents!
A short drive directly off the A44 means the site is lucky enough to be fantastically located for all types of getaways! Bring your walking boots, bikes or books and cycle or walk the many Mid Wales trails for the adventurers amongst us! Or simply spend your stay relaxing in your own private terrace equipped with your own hot tub and fire pit. Not forgetting our newly installed children's play area too for keeping your little ones entertained. -
