Welcomed into the property by the spacious kitchen area, here is the perfect place to rustle up that family favourite supper or prepare a few snacks in readiness for your day of exploring the locality. With the dining & living area incorporated too, this really is a space saver and a sure way that everyone will get to spend the maximum amount of time and not miss out on a precious moment. Open up the french doors to let in that luscious Summer breeze or step out into the sunshine to make the most of the glorious outdoor space.
The paved patio area is home to outdoor seating which is an ideal spot for alfresco dining under the large parasol, watch the children play on the large grassed area while you relax here with your favourite glass of wine. If that sounds like heaven, it's about to get even better! Imagine your own private hot tub where you can enjoy, relax and really escape the hustle & bustle of modern life, well at Caban Nant Ddu this can actually be your reality with your very own exclusive hot tub for your stay.
After a busy day of exploring and/or relaxing you can ensure a good night's sleep in the king size master bedroom, complete with it's own ensure wet room. The second ground floor bedroom includes another king size bed which can also be arranged into two single beds to suit. To accommodate the additional guests the sofa in the living area conveniently teams up as a double bed. There is also a family size bathroom with bath with shower over.
For those chillier months, this cabin will always remain cosy & warm with underfloor heating accompanied with a toasty electric fire in the living area.
Located in an excellent area, whether you are looking for a relaxing stay at the property or to explore the locality there are lots of things to see and do! Rhayader, a quaint market town is just down the road, you will find places to eat and relax in as well as local shops to browse around. Elan Valley & Gilfach Nature Reserve are also just a stones throw away, the perfect places to explore, walk, relax and taking in the rural Welsh air. If you are planning a family holiday there is also an on site children's play area just a small walk from the property.

All bed linen is provided.One hand towel & one bath sheet are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!

Hot Tub & Outside Area
Caban Nant Ddu has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!The hot tubs are emptied, cleaned & re filled at every change over - please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
Kitchen
The kitchen comes complete with electric oven, hobs, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster & kettle as well as a washing machine & dishwasher.We leave for all guests, a tea towel, sponge & cloth, tea coffee & sugar & fairy liquid.
In the cupboards you will find: mugs, water glasses, wine glasses, bowls, dinner plates & tea plates as well as cutlery. For cooking, baking trays, utensils, mixing bowls, oven dishes.
Bathroom
In the bathroom you will find a bath with shower over, hand sink, flushing toilet & heated towel rail as well as toilet paper & hand soap.Wi-Fi

Stephen and Dawn Rowlands are the owners of Cae Llwyn Breaks, a family friendly site based on a farm in the heart of the countryside just outside Rhayader.
Cae Llwyn Breaks offers a unique opportunity for everyone to enjoy and experience the peace and beauty of Mid Wales.
The site comprises of two log cabins which were Stephen and Dawn's first venture and they soon got the staycation buzz and expanded to host an additional six lodges and four luxury glamping tents!
A short drive directly off the A44 means the site is lucky enough to be fantastically located for all types of getaways! Bring your walking boots, bikes or books and cycle or walk the many Mid Wales trails for the adventurers amongst us! Or simply spend your stay relaxing in your own private terrace equipped with your own hot tub and fire pit. Not forgetting our newly installed children's play area too for keeping your little ones entertained.

I travelled to Caban Nant Du with my family and my 6 month old and we had the best time.
The property was spotless and had everything we needed. The only thing was I asked for a travel cot but there wasn’t one in the property. Luckily I bought something similar of my own. Other than that, every single thing was spot on! We had the loveliest break & I will definitely be booking with holiday wales again – in fact very soon for a winter getaway with my husband for his birthday!

Absolutely beautiful location! The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. It was absolutely spotless and my little boys didn’t want to leave. Everything you could possibly need was in the cabin for us. The view from the cabin and the hot tub were stunning! Couldn’t get the kids out of the hot tub. It was also spotlessly clean and turned on for our arrival. 10/10 stay, we will definitely be returning.

Had a fantastic stay in this lodge, thoroughly enjoyed it,. Owners came daily to check on hot tub and take bins out, very clean and tidy, nice welcome hamper when we arrived.
