Daffodil Pod is one of six luxury lodges with hot tubs near the Elan Valley. This dog friendly accommodation near Rhayader with enclosed garden has plenty of options for fresh air, views and meals out nearby.Perfect as a cosy place to retreat after exploring the magnificent landscape, Daffodil Pod also suits well earned rest and relaxation!
Only a couple of miles walk from your pod, Gilfach Nature Reserve makes a peaceful place for a picnic. The sequence of Victorian Dams at the Elan Valley are also a stones throw away. While the market town of Rhayader has cafes, pubs and shops offering all sorts of treats!
This property sleeps up to 4 guests with one sumptuous King Size Bed and the choice of another king size bed or twin single beds - as per your requirements.
Perfect for a couples retreat or dog friendly family getaway, Daffodil Pod has a modern open-plan kitchen and living area complete with dining table, smart TV (with Netflix) and two comfy sofas. The kitchen has all the mod-cons including a dishwasher, oven, microwave and plenty of storage tucked beneath lovely marble work surfaces.
Daffodil Pod has a bright and modern shower room with a flushing toilet. No more trips across a field in the night! This is luxury glamping!

A maximum of 41 people can be accommodated between the Glamping Pods, Shepherd's Huts and Ger Yr Afon Cottage. Why not book a few properties and have a group getaway or special celebration.

Check In / Check Out
Standard check in is from 4pm & check out is by 10am.
This property offers 'Early Check In' at the following rates:- From 12pm - £80
- From 1pm - £60
- From 2pm - £40
- From 3pm - £20
'Late Check Out' is offered at the following rates:
- By 11am - £35
- By 12pm - £70
Please let us know if you wish to add any of these to your booking and payment is to be made at the time of ordering this with us.
Maid Service
Daffodil offers a 'Maid Service' at £30 per property. Maid service includes cleaning the property, turning down the beds, as well as replacing any dirty towels and replenishing any other amenities. Upon booking please add to the notes which day you would like this service or message us to book.
Pet Friendly
Daffodil is a pet friendly and accepts up to 2 dogs and also has an enclosed garden for safety!
At no time are any dogs to be left inside the property unattended, please be mindful & careful around any livestock with dogs.
Additional pets may be permitted at extra cost, contact us for further information & charges.
Sleeping Arrangements
There are 2 bedrooms in Daffodil- 1 x King Size Bed
- The second bedroom can either be made to a 1 King Size Bed or 2 x Single Beds.
Linen & Towels
All bed linen is provided.
One hand towel & 1 bath sheet are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!
A hairdryer is also available upon request.
Cots & Highchairs
Travel cots & a high chairs for your stay can be provided for your stay. These are to be booked through us prior to your stay.
The travel cots do not have bedding included.
Hot Tub & Outside Area
Daffodil has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!
Please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
There is outside seating & also a fire pit at the property, we offer Log Packages which can be found on our 'Hampers' page.
Kitchen
On your arrival, you will find complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & milk. A tea towel, sponge & cloth, some dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid, just to help get you started on your self-catering holiday.
Bathroom
In the bathroom you will find a shower, hand sink, flushing toilet & heated towel rail as well as 2 rolls of toilet paper & hand soap.

This property has Wi-Fi with good signal but occasionally intermittent.

Daffodil is heated with under floor heating.
Parking
There is parking space for 2 cars at the property, parking on the grassed area is not permitted at anytime. -
Your Hosts
Meet Joe & Becky..
Joe & Becky along with their 2 little boys Syd and Charlie are the ones you can expect to meet during your stay. Both Joe and Becky have worked hard to provide you with 6 Luxury Glamping Pods and 4 Luxury Shepherds Huts on one site, they have something for you all with many booking multiple properties for group get together's.
Joe and Becky have lived in the area all of their lives so have lots of local knowledge if you need any help during your stay.
They also own a small Bungalow called Ger Yr Afon which is just across the road from the Glamping Site which is also used as a Holiday Let. -

Drive, walk explore the amazing scenery and views that the Elan Valley has to offer, you will find a Visitors Centre for any information you may need whilst visiting as well as play area for children.

Take a trip to Gilfach Nature Reserve, where you will find over 400 acres of open moorland, flower rich grassland and oak woodland, offering a circular nature trail and a great place to enjoy a picnic at one of the spots and simply relax and let the world go by.
Lion Royal Trekking Centre, Rhayader (6 miles)
Situated in the Elan Valley taking different routes through the hills, valleys, rivers and woodlands each day. Exploring parts of the area that would be difficult to get to on foot, giving you the opportunity to experience the views, wildlife and tranquillity that the Elan Valley has to offer on horseback.
