Maid Service

Mayflower offers a 'Maid Service' at £20 per property. Maid service includes cleaning the property, turning down the beds, as well as replacing any dirty towels and replenishing any other amenities.​ Upon booking please add to the notes which day you would like this service or message us to book.

Pet Friendly

Mayflower is pet friendly and accepts up to 2 dogs.
At no time are any dogs to be left inside the property unattended, please be mindful & careful around any livestock with dogs.
Additional pets may be permitted at extra cost, contact us for further information & charges.​

Sleeping Arrangements

One x King bed.

Linen & Towels

All bed linen is provided.
One hand towel & one bath sheet are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!

A hairdryer is also available upon request.

Hot Tub & Outside Area

Mayflower has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!
Please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
There is outside seating & also a fire pit at the property, we offer Log Packages which can be found on our 'Hampers' page.

Kitchen

On your arrival, you will find complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & a glass bottle of locally sourced milk. A tea towel, sponge & cloth, some dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid, just to help get you started on your self-catering holiday.

Bathroom

In the bathroom you will find a shower, hand sink, flushing toilet & heated towel rail as well as 2 rolls of toilet paper & hand soap.

Hampers

Mayflower offers the Hampers that we have listed on our 'Hampers' page.
Please let us know if you wish to order any of these 2 weeks prior to check in.

Wi-Fi

This property has Wi-Fi with good signal but occasionally intermittent.

Heating

Mayflower is heated with under floor heating and also has a wood burning stove. Log packages can be ordered here.

Parking

There is parking space for two cars at the property, parking on the grassed area is not permitted at anytime.

Meet Joe & Becky..

Joe & Becky along with their 2 little boys Syd and Charlie are the ones you can expect to meet during your stay. Both Joe and Becky have worked hard to provide you with 6 Luxury Glamping Pods and 5 Luxury Shepherds Huts on one site, they have something for you all with many booking multiple properties for group get together's.

Joe and Becky have lived in the area all of their lives so have lots of local knowledge if you need any help during your stay.

They also own a small Bungalow called Ger Yr Afon which is just across the road from the Glamping Site which is also used as a Holiday Let.

Drive, walk explore the amazing scenery and views that the Elan Valley has to offer, you will find a Visitors Centre for any information you may need whilst visiting as well as play area for children.

Take a trip to Gilfach Nature Reserve, where you will find over 400 acres of open moorland, flower rich grassland and oak woodland, offering a circular nature trail and a great place to enjoy a picnic at one of the spots and simply relax and let the world go.

Lion Royal Trekking Centre, Rhayader (6 miles)
Situated in the Elan Valley taking different routes through the hills, valleys, rivers and woodlands each day. Exploring parts of the area that would be difficult to get to on foot, giving you the opportunity to experience the views, wildlife and tranquillity that the Elan Valley has to offer on horseback. Red Kite Feeding Centre, Rhayader (4 miles)
Watch hundreds of Red Kites feeding daily, a truly breath taking spectacle. The Centre is located in beautiful countryside with a Coffee Shop, Gift Shop & Picnic Site.

Llandrindod Wells Boathouse, Llandrindod Wells (12 miles)
Paddle board, kayak or hire Dragon Boats from the boat house or simply take a stroll around the lake!
