Are you looking for the the perfect escape to the country for up to six guests? We may have the place for you!Introducing The Granary, the perfect rural retreat for family and friends.
The spacious kitchen/diner offers a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and traditional wooden dining table large enough to seat the whole party.
The charming living area boasts original wooden beams, comfortable velour corner sofa, flat screen TV and electric fire. With pops of vibrant colour giving it a contemporary edge.
Downstairs, there are two of the three bedrooms as well as a family shower room complete with WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.
The twin room is ideal for the children of the group with two singles beds and colourful soft furnishings, off-setting the traditional charm of the wooden beams. This bedroom also has a dressing table with mirror.
The ground floor king bedroom is accessible for anyone in your group who may have mobility issues.
Head upstairs for the master bedroom, the comfy double bed is set under sloping ceilings and framed by traditional wooden beams. Across the small landing is the en suite, compete with WC, basin, heated towel rail and the stylish, free standing bath.
Outside, The Granary has the perfect space to make memories with fellow guests, with outdoor seating for al fresco dining and the private hot tub.This property is also pet friendly so you can ensure your four legged friend doesn't miss out on the fun too!
Swallows Rest is a short distance from the quaint town of Montgomery, full of delightful little shops, delicatessens and even a historic mediaeval castle to explore.

At no time are any dogs to be left inside the property unattended, please be mindful & careful around any livestock with dogs.

Linen/Towels
All bed linen is provided.
One hand towel, one bath sheet & one face cloth are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!
Hot Tub & Outside Area
The Granary has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!
Please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
Kitchen
On your arrival, you will find complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, bread & butter and a welcome basket. A tea towel, sponge & cloth, some dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid, just to help get you started on your self-catering holiday. In the kitchen you will find electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher as well as a slow cooker and sandwich maker.

Meet Jayne, Nigel, Courtney & Katie..
The Clockhouse, The Granary & Swallows Rest also known as 'Pentre Getaways' are owned by Jayne, Nigel and their two children, Courtney & Katie. You may see Jayne around checking that everything is ok with your stay - usually with a cup of tea in hand!
Jayne, Nigel & family live down the road from the properties, just outside the village of Llandyssil so they are never far away if you have any enquires during your stay.
You will see lots of four legged friends around the site including dogs, sheep, chickens and ducks, so make sure you are mindful of this if you have a dog staying too and ensure they are kept on leads. -
