Enter the property to a spacious and contemporary open plan kitchen/living area. With the modern kitchen complete with a convenient breakfast bar, ideal for a quick bite to eat before a day of exploring. With amenities such as a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher, you really do have everything you could possibly need for your stay.Enjoy home cooked meals or a Saturday night takeaway around the traditional, wooden dining table with high back chairs for comfort. In the same area you will find the perfect space to kick back and relax, head to the vibrant, velour corner sofa to put your feet up in front of the flat screen TV and electric fire for added cosiness! You can ensure all guests can relax and entertain together in this open plan area, framed by charming, original beams and an exposed brick wall, with a splash of added, vivid colour this property really is traditional with a contemporary twist.
On the ground floor, two of the three bedrooms are located including a shower room with WC, basin & heated towel rail, ideal for any guests who may have limited mobility. The downstairs twin room with two single beds is perfect for the younger members of the family. particularly with the splash of colour in the multi coloured throws. The second bedroom on the same level is complete with a plush king size bed, quirky bed side tables with matching lamps and a dressing table with mirror.
Head upstairs to find the master bedroom with en suite shower shower room. This first floor area is the perfect place to relax with a comfy double bed set beneath the sloping ceiling giving a cosy feel as well as the chaise lounge on the landing, so head up the stairs for a bit of privacy and your favourite book to truly unwind on this staycation.
Outside the property is the most idyllic outdoor area, with private hot tub and comfy outdoor seating where better to spend warm summer evenings with loved ones. Speaking of loved ones, The Clockhouse is also pet friendly, so your four legged friend can join too!
The Clockhouse is a short distance from the quaint town of Montgomery, full of delightful little shops, delicatessens and even a historic mediaeval castle to explore.

At no time are any dogs to be left inside the property unattended, please be mindful & careful around any livestock with dogs.

Linen & Towels
All bed linen is provided.
One hand towel, one bath sheet & one face cloth are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!
Hot Tub & Outside Area
The Clockhouse has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!
Please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
Kitchen
On your arrival, you will find complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, as well as a welcome basket. A tea towel, sponge & cloth, some dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid, just to help get you started on your self-catering holiday. In the kitchen you will find electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher as well as a slow cooker and sandwich maker.

The Clockhouse, The Granary & Swallows Rest also known as 'Pentre Getaways' are owned by Jayne, Nigel and their two children, Courtney & Katie. You may see Jayne around checking that everything is ok with your stay - usually with a cup of tea in hand!
Jayne, Nigel & family live down the road from the properties, just outside the village of Llandyssil so they are never far away if you have any enquires during your stay.
You will see lots of four legged friends around the site including dogs, sheep, chickens and ducks, so make sure you are mindful of this if you have a dog staying too and ensure they are kept on leads. -
