Perfect relaxing stay 5/5

we stayed at Kestrel cottage 4 adults (friends) and two boys aged 10 and 12 on the 8th December. It was a quiet peaceful place, beautiful scenery and it was an exceptionally clean property to stay in. All the equipment we had the need of was provided. The place was spotless. Very rural but we were happy with that. We had taken dvd’s to use and board games to place. The swimming pool was lovely, sauna was a welcome addition too. We would all return in a heart beat. Great value for money and a perfect place to unwind

Long weekend in Kestrel Cottage , only lambs sheep rabbits and birds for company! 4.8/5

We booked the cottage to celebrate my 60th birthday. The cottage was clean, comfortable beds and everything you needed fiwn to a torch and candles. Check in was easy and Amy the manager was helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Two bathrooms handy with 4 of us. BBQ, Games room , swimming pool and Sauna all good and easy to use. The views were stunning and we woke every day to the sounds of sheep and birds it was so quite and remote / though 5 minutes off road. Dishwasher wasn’t working properly which was the only down side as we had to wash all dishes by hand but with a great view it wasn’t much of a hardship. We even played tennis and table tennis which got the competitive juices flowing. The lake and stream were pretty to walk around and there was an abundance of information and walks to borrow and use. We had a bbq overlooking the lake watching the sun go down which was a beautiful end to a perfect day. We will be back as this is s complete switch off from busy lives as no WiFi and not much of a signal so you can really switch off completely from technology which was rather refreshing. Great space for our family celebration 20 minutes from Builth Wells and reality! Thank you for a fabulous stay.
