Tranquility 5/5

Great break from the crazy world out there! The Alpacas added a next level of loveliness to the whole experience.

Honeybee home, a proper home from home 4.7/5

We loved our stay, the welcome cake was delicious. Our daughter loves the alpaca. Only negative is the double bed, the springs are so noisy!

Family getaway! 4.8/5

We discovered this hidden gem of a holiday home with a Google search and immediately thought this looked perfect! We arrived and everything was as good or even better than we imagined! Complete privacy with stunning views and dead silent surroundings - exactly what we wanted! (A great escape from the noise of every day life!) The property is on a working farm and the family are really welcoming and helpful. It's very interesting to learn about their family business and how they've built up the business over the years! Nothing was too much trouble for them if we needed anything. You feel welcomed as if you are friends or family! The property is surrounded by fields and paddocks with Alpacas which we loved feeding every day! The log fired hot tub was great and so relaxing to sit there and watch the sun go down over the countryside! A hidden, quirky, underground retreat and only a short drive to Welshpool, Powis Castle, the waterfalls and other local attractions. We loved every minute of being there and will definitely book to go back again in the near future! Thanks very much!

Fantastic week away 5/5

What an amazing stay we had. On arrival we had the most amazing cake left for us which was beautiful. The hot tub was perfect, sitting in the tub at night watching the shooting stars was epic. Owners were always on hand if we needed anything, quick txt to say we needed more fire wood at it was brought straight up. Honey Bee home was beautiful, super clean and had everything you could possibly need for a week’s stay. Then finally the Alpacas. What can we say, the kids had the most amazing time hanging around with them. Every morning they were up and ready to go feed them, they would play swing ball while they watched them. In all honesty it was nice to see them be kids again and this place truly brought out the best in them. The kids cried when we left as they didn’t want to go home. Big shout out to the gentleman who brings the wood, it was so nice hearing all his stories from growing up in the area and telling us about the quarry. He is such a nice man with a big heart and we will miss our daily chats with him. Thanks you for from the bottom of our hearts, we had the best week. You have such a unique set of homes which are fabulous and we wish you every success with them. Hopefully we will see you soon. Love the Hill family.

Loved it! 5/5

What a beautiful and stunning property. It was absolutely spotless and the host provided everything you needed for a self catering stay, including a homemade Victoria sponge which was wow!!! My toddler loved feeding the Alpacas every morning. We could have easily spent 2 weeks here and really looking forward to coming back.

Frodo would not be disappointed 5/5

We loved everything about our stay. From the first steps out of our car, place gave feeling of being in Tolkens Shire. Loved extra personalized, quirky little details across property in line with Honey Bee theme. We were greeted with home made Victorian sponge cake (yum). Food for friendly x6 resident alpacas were also provided at no extra cost. Heated floors were a good touch keeping our feet nice and toasty. Plenty of board games were available for us to play. The wood fired hot tub was amazing. it heated up in less than 2 hours from cold using just few logs. had enough logs left over to use on fire pit, which provided additional tranquil ambience. overall very relaxing and tranquil stay. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Absolutely Perfecf 5/5

We arrived at Honeybee Home and were completely blown away by the accommodation. The attention to detail was fantastic. The place was so cosy, clean and welcoming and the views were incredible. We planned on going for days out but loved the place so much that we didn’t leave for the entire stay, instead enjoying the hot tub, feeding alpacas and relaxing around the firepit at night. We will be visiting annually without a doubt!!

Weekend break 5/5

We have just spent a wonderful relaxed long weekend in the honey bee home. From the first moment walking onto the property and seeing the round windows and hot tube we were in heaven. The attention to detail and the wonderful homemade cake made a fantastic welcome. The home had everything we needed and our children loved their bedroom. The recommendations for places to visit and eat made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to go back.

What a fantastic find of a place. Gorgeous accommodation, lovely personal touches from the owners with cake etc. couldn’t fault it, so relaxing and what an experience to wake up to the alpacas and feed them. Can’t say enough positive things about honeybee home, we will definitely be back Thank you!

Gorgeous Stay 5/5

This property has the wow factor! I couldn't believe the fine detail, little honey bee detail on everything!! I loved this and so did my son. We loved the two story effect of the property, its the first of its kind we've been in. It was lovely and cosy and the underfloor heating kept us so warm. We were lucky enough to have snow during our stay and the views were stunning! Feeding the alpacas was so much fun and a great addition to the property. The hot tub was great! Considering how cold the weather was, it heated up with the logs pretty quickly. Ohhh the venue having a Ninja cooker was a great plus!! Make cooking quick and easy. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The honeybee house is close enough to pop into town too 🙂

Fantastic stay in a beautiful home 4.8/5

We loved our stay at Honeybee Home. Every little detail has been considered and catered for. When we arrived, we were greeted with a home made cake, some local honey and a small tipple to welcome us. We then very quickly met the four resident alpacas who were more than happy to be fed by us. They were a particular highlight. We enjoyed spending time roasting marshmallows around the fire pit and playing the board games that were there too. It was a beautiful place to spend a relaxing family weekend. The property is close to a farm and waterfall which we visited while there. The communication from the owners was effective. We needed to ask some questions before our stay and they popped in to check we were settled in on our first day. We’d love to come back and stay again soon!

Melissa Davis | 31 October 2023

We absolutely loved our stay at Honeybee Home. The extra touches were amazing and we really felt at home. It was lovely to enjoy the views and even get to feed the resident alpacas! Every detail had been thought of with the comfort of the bed, the heated flooring, and stunning interior. We will definitely be back!
