Excellent stay. 100% recommend 5/5

We had a lovely long bank holiday weekend at The Rabbit Warren. It’s somewhere where we are surrounded by nature to help relax and unwind yourself. The main highlight is Alpacas as not only the kids loved feeding them but us adults loved having them around. There is also hot tub so perfect for anyone looking for relaxing holiday and not to forget roasting marshmallow in the fire pit. Overall we had the best holiday and would highly recommend this place. Also not to forget the best homemade cake by Claire 🙂 Also one thing that doesn’t seem important but for us with small kids, there is one bed guard which I wasn’t expecting. That’s very thoughtful I would say 🙂 also if you are early riser like me

Absolutely wonderful 5/5

This was our 3rd stay in less than a year and we absolutely love it. A family of 4 + a dog. The scenery, the hosts, the alpacas and the home itself are all fab. Hot tub, bbq, and outdoor area is all great for relaxing evenings. Cannot fault it! Will be back very soon x

Great family holiday 5/5

We had a wonderful few days at the Rabbit Warren. The place was great, just as pictured and our boys loved being able to see and feed the alpacas each day. We arrived to a freshly baked cake too which was delicious! The hobbit hole was well equipped and great for a family - the children enjoyed having the little bunk room and there were plenty of games to play and colouring books provided too. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and although being a log burning one and taking a while to heat up, it stayed hot for ages! The location is beautiful - fabulous views as well as being situated near many great visit destinations. We would whole heartedly recommend a stay here!

Absolutely incredible stay, beautiful accommodation! Could not fault it! 5/5

We had an amazing weekend at Rabbit Warren. It’s the type of accommodation where you don’t need to go out or leave because it’s so beautiful. The alpacas made the stay even better, my son loved calling them over for their breakfast every morning. It’s a special place and very unique. Hot tub was a fabulous addition and the views were incredible. Claire the owner was only a text away and very helpful! Will certainly be returning! Thank you ever so much.

A truly idyllic place to stay 5/5

The Rabbit Warren is just delightful, the accommodation itself is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and in the most beautiful surroundings. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful but you are still only a 10-15 minute drive away from the nearest town. It's a great base if exploring the sights is your thing or if you just want to relax and unwind it's perfect for that too. It really does tick all the boxes. Claire and Dave, the owners, are the nicest people, they make you feel so welcome, it's clear that it's really important to them that everyone enjoys their stay. We had the best weekend staying here and will definitely be returning.

Relax in intriguing surroundings 5/5

Absolutely beautiful view, very peaceful area. The place itself it's very well appointed and cosy. The best part are the alpacas which greeted us on arrival and fell asleep on our house in the evening. Very odd but peaceful and interesting. We felt relaxed and revived after our stay.

Our Stay At Rabbit Warren 4.8/5

We had a lovely stay this year at the Rabbit Warren. We loved the new addition of a ninja air fryer very easy to use and saved worrying about the smoke alarms going off. Both me and my daughter loved feeding the alpacas and the warren was fairly clean we did notice a few cobwebs and though that doesn't bother me or my daughter other visitors might not like it. The home made cake was absolutely delicious and a wonderful welcome and having basic tea coffee etc with a tipple in the fridge was also a delight. We didn't use the fire bowl outside or the hot tub though I'm sure if the weather had been a little warmer we may have. Didn't mind the alpacas going on the roof but I would have liked it better if the children from the other venue had stayed off our roof. Maybe this could be added to the instructions in the booklet. it was nice to see them playing in the field area with the swing ball and I think its great that it's there for them to use. All in all a wonderful stay and to know the owners were at the end of the phone if we needed anything was great too.

5 Star, absolutely amazing place! 5/5

Rabbit warren was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived it felt like home, it was so clean, smelt lovely and there was everything we needed including a home made cake and a mini bottle of wine! My 4 year old daughter absolutely loved waking up to the alpacas each morning (as did I)! Customer service was fantastic and Claire was only a quick text away if needed. The area is brilliant too as you’re in the middle of nowhere but only 20 mins drive from a small town with supermarkets, pubs, play areas, takeaways etc so you get the best of both worlds. There’s so much to do all within an hours drive - waterfall, lake, soft play, Park Hall Farm Adventures, garden centre..just to name a few! Would 100 recommend to anyone, it’s amazing!

Perfect stay and have already recommended to friends! 5/5

What a perfect stay! Our hosts, the location, the property…10/10. Claire who greeted us was so friendly and helpful and we were so chuffed at the homemade cake as a welcome which was delicious and we looked forward to ending each night with a cuppa and some cake. The location is brilliant, the views were beautiful and the alpacas on site are so friendly and always coming to visit as they free roam - waking up to the sound of them eating the grass above us was such a highlight. Situated in a great spot for peace and quiet but also short drives to some great spots for walking and waterfalls. Inside the property is everything you could need for your stay, the bathroom is stunning and the beds were so comfy. Can’t rate this stay and experience more highly.

Beautiful property and stunning location 5/5

Such a lovely property very private with a stunning view. It was clean and cosy. Lovely little touches like the delicious freshly baked cake and some marshmallows for the fire. There things in the property for kids to play with like some games and colouring pencils. Their favourite was feeding the alpaca’s! Overall it was a lovely break.

Amazing property!!! 5/5

We have just returned from a long weekend at the rabbit warren and it really was the best base for our adventure weekend. The property is well equipped with everything we needed and had lovely extra touches that was much appreciated. Having the alpacas greet us in the morning was always a lovely start to our day. Would highly recommended this property to family’s.

Wonderful Retreat 4.7/5

We had a wonderful time. It’s such a beautiful location and the alpaca were a welcome surprise. My only issue was with the size of the kitchen and fridge. For four people there was very little space to store anything and the fridge did not seem cold enough or large enough so we did have to go shopping during our break as storing a weeks food was an issue. Apart from that. A truely wonderful stay.

Wonderful 4.5/5

A wonderful property. Lots of little details thought of. Beds are comfy and everything was clean. Loved the cake, marshmallows and other amenities left for us. The kids (and I) loved using the food for the alpacas and played a lot of the board games - Funny Bunny was a real favourite. We were delighted to see the addition of an air fryer - which came in handy on the first night. The Bluetooth speaker is one of our favourite features! Some things I would mention are that the lamps in the en suite bedroom were out of charge and we couldn’t find the wires. We could have also done with some smaller logs/kindling for the fires but there was a generous amount of large logs. An addition of a lamp or dimmer switch in the main area would be magic for an evening.

A fun quirky stay in wales 4.7/5

We really enjoyed the quirky hobbit house. The beds were comfortable, shower was lovely and big and kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. But the main reason to go were the views and the resident alpacas that greeted us every time we popped outside. The owners kept us up to date with details on arrival and made us a lovely cake.

Post exam retreat 4.7/5

We had a lovely break at the Rabbit Warren, such a unique place to stay. The Alpacas were roaming frerly around our accommodation, we were also able to feed them with the food provided. If we had any problems, contacting the owners was quick and easy, and replacement items (bbq gas canister) were replaced within 20 minutes. The owners were extremely friendly and even showed us they're newly built hobbit house, which is soon to open this summer. We will definitely be visiting again. Great place to stay for a family, or those looking for something a little bit different.

A very special place 5/5

We were blown away by Rabbit Warren and Claire and Dave’s hospitality. All the special touches were amazing! We all fell in love with Rabbit Warren and the big characters of the Alpacas. We didn’t want our week to end and will definitely be returning.

Very cosy and relaxing stay at Rabbit Warren 4.3/5

We had a lovely time as a family of 5 staying for a few nights over Easter. The Rabbit Warren is warm and cosy and very quirky. The children loved seeing the animals out of the window and going out in the morning to feed them. They also managed to use the outdoor bath and firepit despite awful weather. The kitchen was well equipped although we would have liked another stool so we could all sit to eat but we did manage. The homemade cake, warm bread and butter and Easter treats for the children were very much appreciated. We visited Powis Castle and drove to Barmouth one day. Good location to reach many other places. Thanks for a lovely stay.
