Owl Hollow did not disappoint! Words cannot describe how truly magical it was seeing 4 friendly alpacas on your roof every evening – what a memorable holiday in the Welsh countryside! The “hobbit hole” was very comfortable and the bluetooth speaker sound was the best quality sound I’ve ever experienced. Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond! I highly recommend Owl Hollow for a unique, quirky, and relaxing holiday!

This is a perfect location for a bit of R&R. Dave and Claire had provided everything we needed for a quiet weekend away – tea, cake and a comfortable sofa!! This gorgeous location had amazing views during both the horizontal rain and bright sun. An early morning visit from the Alpacas on the day of our departure provided a wonderful end to our stay. We enjoyed ourselves so much and can’t wait to visit again.

Unique Alarm Clock By Henry

We found the location easily enough, sign posted and easy access. First impressions were amazing, the accommodation was as pictured, incredibly clean and tidy with easy to follow guides for TV and other items. We loved the fresh bread, Welsh cakes and the welcome card topped it off.
We loved the small basket next to the door that had a couple of outside blankets and fresh slippers to go in and out with. We did not wait to set up a fire in the fire pit with the logs, kindling, fire lighters and matches provided. While that was starting we cooked dinner on the induction hob with the pots and pans provide. We found that the frying pan was too small to use on the hob, but a quick call from the hosts and a new larger pan was brought round the next morning.
We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings with a fire going toasting marshmallows, watching the sun go down as the sheep went about their evening. We were never disturbed by the farm equipment, the only reminder we got we were on a farm was the sheep running over the roof in the morning! Very unique alarm clock! We loved every moment of the stay and we hope to visit again.
