The views from this property are simply breath-taking and far reaching, this is a truly unique place to stay and one you will remember for a long time.

We will be back! 4.7/5

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hare's View Lodge! The breathtaking views are truly captivating and hard to beat, setting the scene for a relaxing or activity-packed getaway—whatever you make of it. The accommodation itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and clearly well looked after. If I had to mention a minor detail, it’s that the seating area could be a bit more comfortable for a family of four. The corner seating is up against the lodge’s curved walls, so it’s a bit tricky to sit upright. A couple of bean bags or extra seating options would make it perfect, but that’s just me being picky! Overall, it’s an amazing location that everyone in our group enjoyed—kids, adults, and even the dog! Great value for money, and we’ll absolutely be back (maybe with our own bean bags or camp chairs!).

Short break for a birthday celebration 4.7/5

The stay was for a surprise birthday treat, my wife was overjoyed and a little overwhelmed, especially with the birthday decorations being put up ready for arrival. Communication prior to arrival was very professional and helpful. I opted for a breakfast hamper, which had absolutely lovely produce inside, perfect for anyone arriving late evening. It certainly saves on the last minute shopping, as it's a couple of miles into town, and a good 20 minutes drive archway to larger supermarkets. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Hot tub was also a hit with everyone too.

A cosy and charming Hobbit hole 5/5

My husband and I stayed in the 'Hares View' cottage for our 10th Wedding Anniversary with our two little boys. We were blown away at how idyllic the setting and view were, and how well equipped and laid out the cottage was. As Tolkien fans, we were almost transported to Middle Earth due to how quaint and cosy it was. The hot tub and free waffles were a lovely touch! We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful views and a unique home 4.7/5

We had an amazing group stay in Foxes and Hares view for a long weekend. We had pretty much everything we needed which was lovely. The views surrounding the property are amazing and the local amenities were decent, we would defo come back in future!

An absolute must place to stay 5/5

I highly recommend anyone to stay at Hares View, especially if they fancy somewhere different, fun & quirky. Situated in a picturesque area with unspoiled views for miles. The quaint village of Rhayader is just 2 miles from the site, where there is many shops & places to eat. The accommodation is completely private, with no one overlooking. Therefore, it is very relaxing when chilling in the hot tub. We’ll definitely be returning at some point.

A wonderful stay 4.8/5

We loved our hobbit house stay and made use of the hot tub despite the wet Welsh weather. Gemma and the team made us welcome and made sure we had all the information we needed.. we will definitely return when we can.

Lovely Hobbit Experience 4.2/5

A lovely underground hobbit hole holiday home, with stunning views. Beautifully presented and clean, highly recommended. Sofa could do with an upgrade as you can’t sit back due to the roof, (we used the outside patio furniture) and curtains need little hooks to cover side windows. Would benefit from a sign on the entrance so you know you entering the right driveway too. Overall would love to stay again and try out the other accommodation on site.

The beautiful Hare's View 4.7/5

We stayed at the beautiful Hare's View for one evening as a couple and our dog. It was absolutely incredible, amazing views and we had such a lovely time. The only points I would say that we were disappointed with was the breakfast hamper. The way the hamper was advertised gave the impression that the bacon and sausages would be locally sourced from a butchers in the town so when we arrived and had edwards bacon and sausages we were disappointed as we could have bought this ourselves from tesco. I understand that edwards is a butchers but we were expecting meat from a town butchers etc it didn't state that the loaf of bread was wholemeal (which we dont like)on the advert either so it was just disappointing for the price. But other than the hamper, the stay was absolutely beautiful.
