Perfect for couples or a small family, Owl Hollow is a private underground retreat designed for tranquillity and relaxation. Set in the heart of the countryside, it’s also a fantastic base for exploring the Welsh outdoors.
Step inside to discover an open plan living area, complete with a well-equipped kitchen stocked with everything you need for home-cooked meals or breakfast in bed. A space saving rotating dining area and a cosy sofa offer comfort and function, while the full glass front fills the room with natural light and scenic views.
The plush double bed includes a special hidden feature: a pop up smart tv, perfect for cosy nights in with your favourite show. The modern bathroom features a walk in shower, wash basin, and flushing WC.
Step outside to find an inviting private outdoor area. Soak in the wood-fired hot tub (available for an additional £50 per stay), fire up the gas BBQ, or relax around the fire pit. With panoramic views of rolling green hills, it’s the ideal setting for alfresco dining or a peaceful evening under the stars.
Just ten miles from the historic town of Oswestry, Owl Hollow offers easy access to castles, walking trails, cycling routes, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Please note: as Owl Hollow is located on a working livestock farm, pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead when outside.

Standard check in is from 5pm & check out is by 10am.
Hot Tub
The Wood Fired Hot Tub is an optional extra at £50, please let us know in advance if you would like to add this to your booking. Ample fire wood is supplied for your stay but if you do require any in addition to that supplied please contact Claire for more, there will be an additional charge.
Towels
Towels are supplied for the shower. We recommend bringing your own towels for the hot tub but if you would like to hire them they are £2.50 each
Pet Friendly
Owl Hollow is pet friendly and accepts up to 2 dogs. There is no enclosed garden with this property so dogs are to be kept on leads whilst outside.
At no time are any dogs to be left inside the property unattended, the site is located on a working farm, please be mindful & careful around the livestock with dogs.
Sleeping Arrangements
At Owl Hollow there is one double bed as well as a sofa bed which converts into another double bed.
Linen & Towels
All bed linen is provided.
1 hand towel & 1 bath sheet are provided per guest.
Outside Area
The outside area comes complete with a wood fired Hot Tub, BBQ & fire pit as well as outdoor seating for alfresco dining. A starter pack of logs are provided for the fire pit and additional logs can be purchased during your stay.
Kitchen
The kitchen comes complete with oven & hobs, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster & kettle.
Tea, coffee & sugar will be left for guests.
Bathroom
In the bathroom you will find a shower, hand sink, flushing toilet & heated towel rail as well as toilet paper & hand soap.
Wi-Fi
This property has Wi-Fi with good signal but occasionally intermittent.
Heating
Owl Hollow is heated with under floor heating.
Parking
There is parking space for 2 cars at the property. -
