This was our second time at fern. Will book again for sure. 4.7/5

Absolutely love this place, it was our second time at fern. View is breathtaking, so peaceful. The bed is so comfy, slept so well. The sunrise we saw was AMAZING will be booking for next year.

Peaceful and idyllic 5/5

We stayed for 4 nights in May. We had the best time despite the evenings being a little chilly! The pod was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the hot tub was crystal clear and warm and the welcome try with tea, coffee etc, fresh flowers and eggs was very sweet. The decking is fully enclosed with two gates which was perfect for our dog. The pod overlooks the valley which was stunning. We enjoyed watching the sheep and new lambs, some of whom were mere feet away from the pod. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed using the bbq, fire pit and log burner supplied. The bed was a little hard for our tastes but others may like that. The hot tub was a little murky by day 5 but we were in it a lot! We saw the farmers a couple of times while walking out and about, they were friendly but not at all intrusive which we appreciated. This is the perfect holiday if you want peace and quiet as it is remote, we walked to the local pub a couple of times but be prepared for an up and down hill trek of 3.8 miles each way! It is a glorious walk if you like walking. The wifi in the pod was very reliable.
