Amazing 5/5

The stay was amazing. The views were stunning! The area around our hut was dog proof so we could relax without worry about our dog escaping. Everything was perfect and we would 100% stay there again.

Stunning Views 4.5/5

We had a lovely one night stay in Shepherds View. We loved the location and our views were stunning - we especially enjoyed our four legged neighbours in the form of the Sheep & Highland Cows. The hot tub was fabulous & a wonderful temperature throughout. We enjoyed the peace, well that was until our human neighbours were a tad noisy with the booming of their music and the whiff of their weed! However when we were inside the Shepherds Hut itself, we weren't disturbed at all. Our only slight criticism would be that the bed wasn't very comfortable & so it was fortunate we only had one night booked (we are a couple in our 50's so comfort is key). We ordered a breakfast hamper which was absolutely delicious. We would like to Book again but will definitely have a proper bed next time. All in all a really lovely stay in a stunning location.

First Holiday away with our dog 5/5

If youre looking for a get away with your dog then look no further! Shepherds view offers a very good sized fully enclosed garden, fencing is post and rail with good quality livestock mesh to accomodate smaller dogs, the accomodation was comfortable for 2 addults and fully equipped with everything we needed, very friendly staff who were more than happy to help us with anything we needed or questions about the local area, the location is a perfect base with plenty of local nature reserves, close enough to drive to Ellen Valley and the beach at Aber which has a dog friendly section, we will book here again 100% the veiws are amazing, and the free roaming goats on the hill were lovely to watch from the hot tub.

Amazing stay 5/5

We had the most incredible stay just the two of us and the dog it was so peaceful even though there are other people around. We had fun exploring the local area and different walks we could take whilst also enjoying a lovely pub lunch. Overall we had an amazing time! We definitely rebook and have already recommended to two other people who have also booked

Great stay 4.5/5

Upon arrival the views were beautiful, easy access with self check in. Garden wasn’t fully secure for 3 small sausage dogs but with one phone call the gate was made more secure & made us feel more at ease. Accommodation was beautifully kept inside and out, clean, warm, welcoming only one problem the food down bed, the mattress was about 2” thick and unfortunately with 3 blankets on was still rather uncomfortable to the point we left a day earlier for our backs to recover. Cooking was great, we did prepare for the worse and pre cook at home with helped as it was only a microwave (big tip bring an air fryer so much easier haha). The hot tub was beautiful to relax in, some bubbles & jets didn’t work but it didn’t bother us as we just had drinks and chilled out after long dog walks. The surrounding areas for dog walks was amazing, we visited the Craig Goch Dam and walked along the water. The local nature reserve and found the waterfalls. Overall very happy with the holiday & if we was to book again it would be in a slightly bigger accommodation & one with a thicker bed haha

The shepherds hut was amazing. A cosy space that has everything you could need for a short stay. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and it was lovely to sit and watch the sunset from the hot tub of an evening.

Lush Little Getaway 5/5

We loved our 3 nights in Shepherds View. Everything was clean and tidy, we arrived and let ourselves in with no hassle whatsoever. The views from the hottub are incredible and it’s so peaceful. We have already booked to return as we loved it so much. And being dog friendly with an enclosed garden makes you feel like they’ve gone the extra mile to welcome you. It’s everything I expected and more we can’t wait to return!!
