Stunning location, shame about the flies 4.2/5

This pod is set pretty much in the middle of nowhere with absolutely stunning views looking over the hills. It is extremely quiet and makes you appreciate the beauty around you. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be! We could not fault the location. The pod is very well equipped with everything you wish for from utensils to pillows and bedding. The hot tub is a wonderful luxury which we thoroughly enjoyed especially when the sun was setting. Beds were comfy and the bedding was warm - definitely needed for the chillier mornings! The only negative we found were the flies. Now I appreciate we were in the countryside but there were an epic amount of flies. Even before we had opened the door to the property we could see some buzzing around inside left over from when the cleaners had been in. Unfortunately we were unable to open the doors unless quickly going in or out due to the amount of flies. The owners do provide fly spray and swats but it’s not much fun doing that an awful lot. I don’t know what the solution is though.

A happy place! 5/5

Would definitely recommend to others, was a beautiful location. Such a calm and peaceful place. Everything was clean and presented nicely, looks exactly like the pictures. Hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. If you’re dependent on wifi/ signal- it was quite difficult to get service. But you’ll soon figure out where the best place is for your phone to be located (mainly on the bed). But saying that, it was nice not to be on the phone and just enjoy every moment/ scenery as we don’t get to do that often 🙂

beautiful pod, beautiful setting 5/5

The pod is in a lovely setting, peaceful and with stunning views. The hot tub can be enjoyed whilst taking in the views and fun was had cooking our meals on the firepit. Teenage grandson was the chef. The pod itself is equipped to a high standard with quality towels, bedding, and kitchen equipment. We had a lovely halloween welcome with carved pumpkin, chocolates and a superb home made raspberry lemonade. Just little touches that made our stay extra special. Thank you.

Would come again! 5/5

Had the best time as this glamping pod, very clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there upon arrival. Hot tub was delightful! Beautiful views and plenty of sight seeing within 20 mins of the location. Would definitely visit again!

Peace and quiet 5/5

We both badly needed a weekend away to relax and get away from it all. This couldn’t have been better, absolutely loved it. The gorgeous weather made it even better. The hot tub was perfect, the bed was super comfy, and the peace and quiet in the night was on another level. We sat out in the evening in front of the fire pit and the sky was so clear you could just see the stars. Everything was provided, including small things like kitchen roll, salt, pepper, cleaning spray etc. A mop would have been useful, but we managed with towels. Small tip… take plastic cups if you plan on having drinks in the hot tub as they’re not provided. Perfect stay, thank you.

Lovely relaxing break. 5/5

Unfortunately, our Sat Nav stopped working in the Valley by Lake Vyrnwy so finding the pods was a little stressful! Luckily the lovely people at the shop were able to give us excellent directions. Once we were on the right road there were clear signs directing us. The appeal of the Pods is that they are out of the way and they are certainly peaceful. Our initial drive seemed to take some time but, once we knew where we were, it was actually only about 10 minutes from Lake Vyrnwy where we did some lovely walks. The view from the pod was beautiful. It was so quiet, we even joked that the sheep had been trained not to bah! Despite wet weather we were still able to enjoy using the covered hot tub which was amazing after a long walk.

Simon Winter | 02 July 2023

Brilliant from start to finish 5/5

Absolutely loved the stay, cannot fault at all. Location is amazing with beautiful scenery, the pods are kept very clean and the hot tub was the best part of it all. Highly recommend this to everyone that needs a nice relaxing getaway. The host was also super nice and accommodated us when needed.

Amazing little break in a beautiful area of Wales. Worth every single penny. 5/5

I booked 4 nights here for my boyfriends birthday as a surprise. We arrived and instantly were impressed! The views were amazing, the pod itself was so clean and well equipped, the hot tub had been scrubbed clean and was all ready for us to enjoy. Storage inside the actual pod also impressed me - there was lots of room to put 4 days worth of food, clothes etc. There was even hangers inside the small wardrobe compartment. We were lucky enough to meet the owners when they were cleaning the pod next to us - they were so lovely and polite, asking us if everything was ok, if we needed anything, etc. Watching them clean was mesmerising! The attention to detail was unbelievable. You can tell they take such great pride in their little business. One of the owners actually wore a head torch whilst she was cleaning inside the pod, so make sure she was being thorough enough. Honestly worth every single penny. I put so many pictures on my social media pages, and had lots of people asking me where I was. I could not recommend this place enough - it was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be returning soon!

Kelly and Sean 5/5

We absolutely loved our stay it had got everything we needed apart from we could of done with a mop in there as it was raining but apart from that it was excellent we have already booked badger view for September so we will be back

Kelly Jackson | 10 May 2023

Perfect. 5/5

I attended with my wife for a 2 night stay. The pod was immacualte both inside and out. The added little extras make this excellent value for money in comparison to other places i have stayed, and the view from the hot tub.. wow. What a special location. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners also who were cleaning the pod next door and what a lovely couple, friendly to speak to and nothing was too much to ask. Will be staying again! Standout for me due to the overall experience. Many Thanks.

Sam Jones | 24 April 2023

Wish we had booked for longer 5/5

I don’t think glamping experience can get any better than Dyfnant Pods. In the heart of the nature, a well thought through pod with all essentials provided, we speculate that the business is entirely customer satisfaction orientated rather than profit. Extremely reasonably priced, we’d return again for a longer break. Our friends have also shown plenty of genuine interests in staying here.

Sumitra Thapa | 15 April 2023

Stunning Views 5/5

We had the best stay for my partners birthday! The views are stunning and the pod and hotub exceeded expectations! Thank you for having us! 🙂
