Birthday break 5/5

Second time staying at this beautiful barn in a perfect location to wind down and relax. The view is idyllic from the hot tub which was wonderful and the balloon and banner and cakes for my partners birthday were a lovely touch. Had a slight maintenance issue but this was addressed straight away by Claire who sent someone to fix the issue within the hour. Very impressed. We will definitely return (again!).

Perfect little getaway! 5/5

We’ve just returned home from our little break away at Wyn’s Barn and it was everything we needed and more. I originally booked 2 nights but extended it by an extra night which was no hassle at all and I’m so glad I did. I received a text from Claire on the morning of our booking and I text her when we left. I didnt need to contact them during our stay but I felt that If I needed to then I would be in good hands to do so. (I was tempted a couple of times as i wanted to pet the Alpacas maybe next time!) It has everything you need for you stay, to be honest I probably could’ve just moved in and lived there! The views are beautiful. The hot tub is checked daily. You’re not far from amenities if you need any. The bathroom is dreamy and the bed is comfortable – kingsize too! I’ve already been checking dates to see when we can come back! We’ve now stayed at Wyn’s Barn and The Tin Shed and both were beautiful stays which I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic little escape 4.2/5

We stayed at Wyns barn and can honestly say the property was wonderful, everything was clean and new and beautifully presented. I found the little touches like providing milk and a little basket of treats were unique and a lovely start to our stay. If I had to really nitpick I would say a little more cutlery would be welcome as it is self catering. I would highly recommend Wyns barn and it is in a beautiful location with lovely views.

ceri morgans | 20 December 2025

Just perfect. 5/5

Wonderful mini break for myself, partner and fur babies. We don’t often take the dogs away with us due to not having a secure garden, but here, was very secure, we could sit in the hot tub and not worry about the dogs escaping as they’re only little yorkies. We definitely would return here! Very good price and very good service from Claire. Thank you for having us.

Toni Grech | 29 November 2025

Lovely place, has everything you need! 4.7/5

The exterior is lovely, the scenery is stunning, the interior is very tasteful. The high ceilings are very airy and spacious with lovely beams giving a traditional feel The amenities are excellent, a coffee machine, dishwasher (although couldn’t figure how to work it!), hot tub, modern oven/hob, nice shower. The hot tub is very warm, has a set temperature and you can fiddle with lights for nighttime use and jets, it was very pleasant to use. Dog friendly which was a bonus, and the lovely welcome pack was a nice touch! The only minor bits of feedback would be the internet / WiFi was not very reliable, it frequently drops out and loses connection. This affects your own devices and the TVs too. The only frustrating thing were the number of flies. There are fly strips up to catch them (and clearly they work!) but there were still many buzzing around which is frustrating, especially whilst having dinner and relaxing a bit inside. The property is located on a farm with Alpacas just opposite, so flies are to be expected, maybe it was just the season or weather for them. The location is very easy to find and the local towns are 10min drive and have several nice pubs and takeaways like Chinese and Indian. We also used Aggie Bak, mobile masseuse who was great! So would recommend her to visit and make your stay even more relaxing and enjoyable!

Four Nights At Wyn’s Barn 4.5/5

The barn is very new so the facilities were all in very good condition. The space is fresh and lovely and there was a nice welcome pack which included a few thoughtful items. The hot tub in particular was a lovely addition and the views from this were beautiful. We only met the owner once but had a lovely chat and he was very friendly. The decor was very tasteful and everything worked as expected. The information stated there was a fridge /freezer but this turned out to be just a fridge although this did not cause us any inconvenience for the length of our stay. There was sufficient cutlery/crockery for two people (maybe an addition of wine glasses/plastic wine glasses for outside use would be a bonus). The only downside for us during this stay was an issue with flies. We seemed to be inundated with them in all rooms. There were fly catchers installed in both the bedrooms and the living areas and although they showed signs of catching flies, the amount of flies experienced was a little off putting. There was still some work going on around the barn to convert other properties but this did not cause us any problems.
