Simply amazing 5/5

Since booking to communicating with the owners and the whole experience in the cabin was simply amazing, would highly recommend it. Very peaceful location and beautiful views over the fields.

Lovely wee hut for relaxation. 5/5

Had a lovely weekend away at the Ginger Nut for my birthday, check in instructions were clear and the hut was small but everything I needed. The hottub was lovely to relax in after a day of exploring the area. Lots to do around the area and food places to try. Will most definitely be booking again.

Perfect. Just perfect. 5/5

From the very get go we knew this holiday was going to be a winner. The hut was spotless when we arrived. The hot tub was bubbling and there were even sun loungers to relax on. The hut is situated in a secluded nook that overlooks fields. it was just so peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts had thought of everything. We even had our own designated parking spot which backed onto the path to the hut. our four night stay totally recharged us. I know anyone staying there will have a wonderful time. We did and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

A gorgeous stay in a beautiful area! 4.7/5

The shepherd's hut was beautiful with everything you could need including a complimentary bottle of wine that went down fantastic in the hot tub! It was easy to find using what3words and felt very secluded despite being on a worming farm. Excellent location close to some fantastic walks and towns! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place to stay 5/5

We stayed here for our anniversary, it was the perfect little getaway. Close to a lovely town, and a drive from lots of local activities

layne whittaker | 31 July 2024

Lovely location 4.3/5

Overall….our stay in the ginger hut was lovely. It was very clean, had everything we needed & the hosts left us a bottle of wine which was lovely! Local pub in walking distance….plus lots of great things locally to visit! Hot tub was a nice addition! Shower was great….towels provided were fresh & clean! The only thing I would recommend to change would b the bed & bedding. The bed was far too soft, pillows were lumpy, quilt was very thin & I felt the bedding was very worn! Some high quality bedding, a luxury quilt & fluffy pillows would definitely b a welcome addition! We did end up leaving a day early cos whilst the hut was lovely….we found the sleeping was not.

Absolutely amazing! 5/5

My partner and I stayed here over a weekend for our 21st birthdays. It was the most amazing weekend we have had - the location is perfect and there is everything you need. This including inside the cabin, and nearby such as shops/pubs. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights over the beautiful field full of sheep! The cabin is immaculate and is very cosy. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay - no cons of this place at all, only pros! Thank you for having us

Gabriella McDiarmid | 16 May 2024

A quaint shepherd's hut. 5/5

Although small (as to be expected for a shepherds hut) it had everything we could possibly need and was very clean and tidy. The hot tub was perfect. It's location is good for a couple of local pubs and nice walks.

A lovely little break 5/5

We stayed at The Ginger Nut in October for our anniversary. It was lovely to arrive and have a nice bottle of fizz waiting and the hot tub ready to go! The hut was the perfect size and had everything we needed. We walked into the village and everyone at the locals were really friendly. Would definitely recommend- hosts were lovely and very responsive. 🙂

Weekend stay at The Ginger Hit 5/5

What a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful Shepards hut close enough to drive into the local town but far enough away to feel you are really one with nature. Would highly recommend!

the ginger nut shepards hut, in Welshpool, wales 5/5

The shepards hut was one of the nicest holidays I’ve had in the UK, it was very clean, had everything we would need (towels, bath mat, cutlery etc..) and was in a great location with a shop/petrol station 30 seconds down the road. The hospitality from the owners was amazing and they helped us with anything we needed. It was 10/10 would recommend to anybody!
