Lovely quiet trip away 4.8/5

The prancing pony was amazing. It was not hard to find at all. When we arrived we met one of the hosts and he was very nice and informative. The place itself was virtually sound proof. We couldn't hear anything outside at night. We were right next to a river and enjoyed sitting in the hanging chair and reading. The farm animals were a delight to watch. The closest village was only about a 20 minute walk away. But we barely needed to leave as we enjoyed just relaxing in the place and hot tub so much. If you wanna get away from everything and just relax then I highly recommend the prancing pony.

Hobbit house prancing pony 4.3/5

This was a very quirky and fun stay! The kids loved it. The hot tub was amazing plus the views were stunning and very peaceful. There was a slight damp smell but that didn’t affect the use of the property. The shower could do with a bath mat and a boot stand outside for your wet & muddy wellies!

Lovely Little Find 4.3/5

The Prancing Pony was cosy, cute and in a very peaceful location. The hot tub was gorgeous... Definitely would recommend and would visit again. Would point out that there is NO Wardrobe and nowhere to hang clothes, we lived out of the suitcase for 3 nights. Would benefit from perhaps a table top ironing board and iron. But to be honest we did manage. Also very limited cupboard space, therefore only 1 wine glass and 1 glass tumbler, we asked for wine glasses but was brought gin balloon glasses, so went out and bought plastic wine and prosecco glasses for the tub. This really should have been provided as meant for possibly 4 persons and just the 1 wine glass and 1 glass tumbler is not sufficient. Apart from that it was fabulous.

Family break 5/5

My Husband and I stayed with our 2 children (6 & 4) and had the most amazing time. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed, the kids already want to to back. The location is perfect if you're after peace and tranquillity -The sound of the river, the views and the hot tub were wonderful. There's a booklet that gives you lots of information on the local area etc which I thought was a great idea. Fabulous hosts. Thankyou.

The perfect escape 5/5

We loved our stay at the prancing pony, it was a fun and quirky way to get away from it all. It was warm and comfortable, very clean and had most amenities that we needed. It doesn't have a microwave but you can live without that. The hot tub was lovely and the river added an extra layer of asmr to listen and relax to. The local town is close enough and had anything we needed. Dafyd was a very attentive host, making sure we were OK and had everything we needed. It really was a perfect escape.

Lovely stay at the Prancing Pony 5/5

I booked my stay as a birthday present for my partner who is a big lord of the rings fan and thought he would love the idea of staying in a little hobbit hole - which of course he did. He kept pointing out all the little details which made it so perfect from the name of the lodge to the artwork - so many small touches that made such a big difference. The hot tub was a really nice addition as well - we stayed end of September and it rained most of the time we were there but the hot tub was still nice and warm and relaxing! The lodge itself was small but still felt spacious inside. It was clear a lot of effort had gone into making everything fit into an awkward shaped building so it never felt cramped at all. On arrival we accidentally went up the wrong road but were met by Owain who was very polite and chatty and directed us the correct way! Owain and Dafydd also provided a great welcome book with suggestions of all the things to do and see whilst we were there which was really helpful.

The prancing pony short stay 5/5

So lovely staying here, so welcoming and friendly. Would recommend the local fish and chip shop for takeaway, we visited the local waterfalls which were beautiful, we also travelled to a couple of beaches each day we did something different, and came back to a peaceful, comfortable home with a relax in the hot tub with gorgeous views.

Amazing little weekend 4.8/5

We had the best weekend at Prancing Pony. Our little hut was beautiful and we loved waking up every morning to the sun rise and sleeping to the sun set. The hut was quirky and comfy. We had a bbq with some local food from the village butchers, and an amazing carvery in the cross hands. Felt relaxed recharged and ready to face a new week.

Fab stay 4.8/5

We had a great stay at the the prancing pony, we were left in complete solitude which was what we wanted. The owner did pop by shortly to introduce and see if we wanted anything and we felt very welcomed. Hot tub was fab and we used everyday even with the rain. We are hoping to come back in the future to stay again.
