Cwm Cariad is a fantastic Shepherds Hut, set on the edge of & walking distance from the stunning Glyndwr's Way National Trail with fabulous views across the valley.
A beautifully styled getaway with countryside views and cosy welcoming interior makes this ideal for couples to snuggle up on a romantic break away in the undulating hillside of Mid Wales, perfect as a base to explore the diverse local countryside whilst providing a secluded retreat to return back to.
The open plan living area provides a cosy place to sit and enjoy a bite to eat with a well equipped kitchen and warming electric wood burner, perfect to snuggle up with on the cooler evenings.
The shower room is compact and well-designed with a flushing WC.
The plush double bed, offers fabulous countryside views through the patio doors across the outdoor dining area to the feeling of seclusion and being surrounded by countryside. The perfect place for that much needed early night or well deserved lie in.
This delightful Shepherd’s Hut is on the edge of the owners farmland with a private enclosed garden, an ideal place to relax and watch the local wildlife and stargaze after the sun has gone done or perhaps relax in the warm waters of the hot tub.
Cwm Cariad also welcomes one well behaved dog to enjoy the large enclosed garden whilst you can kick back and relax in the private hot tub.
This property offers a selection of added extras from Birthday Hampers, Breakfast Hampers, BBQ Hampers & Log Packages. These can be ordered direct with the owners once you have placed your booking, they would need 2 weeks notice for any hampers you wish to order.

Cwm Cariad is a pet friendly property and accepts up to 1 dog and also has an enclosed garden for safety!
At no time are any dogs to be left inside the property unattended, please be mindful & careful around any livestock with dogs.

This is a open plan style accommodation

One hand towel & 1 bath sheet are provided per guest.
If using the hot tub we recommend also bringing your own towels too!
Hot Tub & Outside Area
Cwm Cariad has its own private hot tub, what better way to relax during your stay then making full use of this whilst admiring the beautiful view!
Please be mindful that they may not be quite up to temperature when you first arrive.
There is outside seating & also a fire pit at the property, logs are available to purchase from the Owners.
Kitchen
On your arrival, you will find complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & and some milk with a small snack and 6 fresh eggs. A tea towel, sponge & cloth and fairy liquid, just to help get you started on your self-catering holiday.
Bathroom
In the bathroom you will find a shower, hand sink, flushing toilet & heated towel rail as well as 2 rolls of toilet paper & hand soap.

There is parking space for 1 car at the property, parking on the grassed area is not permitted at anytime.

Gareth and Rhian run Shepherds Valley Holidays, its a family friendly site based in the heart of the Radnorshire countryside.Along with Gareth's family they run a busy sheep farm, so there will be lots of woolly four legged friends around. You may see Gareth & Rhian around the fields & properties getting on with their day to day duties.
The site comprises of a Shepherds Hut, Pod and converted Horse Lorry, this is Gareth and Rhian's new venture alongside farming.

Absolutely beautiful area, stunning views. So peaceful you can only hear the birds and sheep. The shepherds hut was perfect, spotlessly clean and everything you might need. Hot tub so relaxing. I would highly recommend this place.

Stunning location. Beautiful accommodation. Beautifully presented. Would absolutely recommend it for a peaceful relaxing break. Lots of lovely details. The robes. The fresh eggs and milk. Everything was thought of. The hot tub was amazing. We had a brilliant time. Loved the birthday hamper.
