For an idyllic farmhouse and the perfect destination for a family holiday, particularly if you are looking to forget about the hustle & bustle of modern life with a real escape to the country. Standing on its own in an elevated position at the end of a private no-through lane, privacy is key here and with far reaching views to match of the true Welsh countryside, memories to last a lifetime can certainly be made here.

The Cottage itself has all the amenities you could need for you stay, the well equipped kitchen comes complete with electric cooker, microwave, slim dishwasher & in the adjacent Utility Room a tall fridge freezer and washing machine. Whether you are looking to rustle up a picnic for a day of exploring the local footpath or if the chef of the party is cooking up a storm for all to enjoy, anything is possible with what is provided for the duration of your stay. The traditional slate tiled floor in the dining really adds to the charm this property gives, with a large dining table and seating for everyone not only can you enjoy a family supper here but also a friendly board game too!

Downstairs also offers a selection of lounge areas to kick back and relax in, the conservatory is a real sun trap and the perfect place to to get stuck into that book you have been meaning to start! The sitting room is the perfect place for the whole party to gather with a reclining sofa & chairs as well as a wood burning stove on a slate hearth, you can really take the chill of those Winter evenings gathered in here with the roaring fire. An additional snug can also be found on the ground floor which can double up as an additional bedroom with a ful sized double sofa bed. A king size bedroom complete with TV & gorgeous oak furniture suite is also situated on the ground floor as well as a shower room with electric shower, basin & flushing WC.

Head upstairs to find the remaining bedrooms, a family bedroom with a plush double & single bed as well as the double bedroom complete with television, the perfect place for that much needed early night you have been promising yourself! The family bathroom comes complete with a bathtub for a relaxing soak and again a basin & flushing WC.

If you are impressed with the inside then head outside to become even more dazzled! We have mentioned the views but they really are the piste de resistance of Bryncylla Cottage and where better to admire them then from the private, covered hot tub, crack open that bottle of bubble and submerge yourself into a true little piece of heaven. With comfy outdoor furniture too during those Summer months you can make the most of the beautiful weather with some alfresco dining.

Wanting to explore the local surroundings? The Wye Valley Walk is a popular footpath that passes through the village of Llangurig which is located at the bottom of the lane or the likes of Hafren Forest, Llyn Clywedog Reservoir & Dam, Devils Bridge Falls are just a short drive away and well worth checking out.

This charming cottage is a real retreat and with lovely traditional and period features adds a cosiness to make you feel home from home. Being comfortably furnished & well equipped with Wi-Fi throughout Bryncylla is well worth checking out, a little Welsh haven.

Hot Tub

An amazing place 5/5

We have just stayed for a week at bryncylla and we loved every minute!!!! We were celebrating my husbands 40th birthday and it was the perfect setting. The owner is really friendly and welcoming. Gwyneth was so kind and thoughtful, she arranged a balloon and a beautiful welcome pack for us. The views, birds and peaceful environment are wonderful, and experiencing them from the hot tub was the best!! The cottage has everything you would want in regards to the facilities and accessories. We had a wonderful week and there are lovely places to visit nearby, although the cottage itself is enough to relax for a while. We highly recommend!!!!
