The contemporary kitchen is generously appointed with a charming dining table tastefully handmade using oak and reclaimed fenceposts, the ideal spot for a champagne breakfast. The snug living space has an inviting sofa for cosying up in front of the Laura Ashley wood burning stove that sits on top of another handmade feature, the stone hearth.
The bedroom is one spectacular feature after another, boasting a bed that's entirely unique; king sized and made from farm grown oak, it's a breathtaking hand made feature, with a “sleep like a log” guarantee.
The spacious wet room has a contemporary shower, blending old and new with glass bricks and classic tile warmed gently by the underfloor heating.
Outside is the private cottage garden where you can truly unwind in the exclusive hot tub, the perfect area to spend the evenings after a day of exploring the locality.

Meet Siwan & Jake ..
Siwan and Jake run Nant Awen with the help of their two small children and dog Buffy. Y Capel and Y Stabl are two renovated cottages on the small holding next to the house they live where they live on site and are usually on hand for a chat if needed.Set on a rural farmstead just a mile outside the quaint village of Carno, the house and buildings date back to the late 19th century and in 2015 underwent quite the transformation, lovingly renovated to create a blissful romantic retreat.
Inventively designed and renovated our two houses, Y Stabl (the stable) and Y Capel (the chapel) are a breath-taking blend of both contemporary and original rustic features, providing a luxury, boutique holiday escape perfect for two.
