Y Capel is a spacious apartment just dripping with elegance and charm, an abundance of handmade elements and luxurious features.
Past the nifty oak dining table, cosy enough for two, and you're in the open living space where you can curl up on the comfy sofa in front of the handmade wood burner, a testament to welsh craftsmanship.
Hard to miss in this space is the copper bath, a stunning free-standing feature from Marrakesh, designed to the owners specification and artfully installed under the copper pipework.
Winding around the corner is the generous wet room with contemporary shower and stylish fixtures drawn together by the elegant tiles that are gently warmed by the underfloor heating.
Tucked away under the stairs is the well appointed kitchen, warm and modern with plenty of light spilling in through the deep set Chapel window.
The floating staircase, handmade in oak, leads to a mezzanine floor where the dynamic bespoke bed - again handmade in oak - is sure to make a bed bug out of the most faithful "morning person"!
Outside is the private cottage garden where you can truly unwind in the secluded Jacuzzi hot tub.
Relax under the night sky and enjoy the tranquillity of this romantic retreat.

Meet Siwan & Jake ..
Siwan and Jake run Nant Awen with the help of their two small children and dog Buffy. Y Capel and Y Stabl are two renovated cottages on the small holding next to the house they live where they live on site and are usually on hand for a chat if needed.Set on a rural farmstead just a mile outside the quaint village of Carno, the house and buildings date back to the late 19th century and in 2015 underwent quite the transformation, lovingly renovated to create a blissful romantic retreat.
Inventively designed and renovated our two houses, Y Stabl (the stable) and Y Capel (the chapel) are a breath-taking blend of both contemporary and original rustic features, providing a luxury, boutique holiday escape perfect for two.
